In the world of Multiple Sclerosis, there are doctors, researchers, fundraisers, supporters, and of course, patients. Diagnosed with MS in 1999, I’m a professional speaker, board certified naturopathic doctor, the Director of the Fight MS with Food project, and award-winning author.
When I speak to groups of disease sufferers and their supporters, I not only bring information on the latest research, but offer new perspectives in personal health care and empower each participant to actively improve their health through personal actions. My personal stories bring inspiration and motivation to take charge of your own health through the things you can control, namely, the food you put into your mouth. Everyone leaves holding the tools to begin improving their own health and future.

Want to see me in action? Here is my recent TED talk titled “We Are What We Eat: Poisons In Our Everyday Foods.” Here’s the motivational story of my patented cooking method, and here’s a tv clip of me doing a cooking demonstration. Don’t overlook my MS story video describing my research and philosophy about diet and autoimmunity.
From the keynote to break-out sessions to workshops to evening or spouse events, my programs provide information wrapped in entertainment and everyone goes home with a clear idea of how to move forward to achieve their goals. Put me on stage to give a cooking demonstration as an extra treat for attendees! Read some testimonials here.
